About Journey in Colour

Guided by curiosity and a love for slow travel, I gather stories shaped by art, culture, landscapes, food, and the quieter details often missed. From the echo of cowbells in the Dolomites to the scents and sounds of Marrakesh’s souks, from Catalonia’s soulful cuisine to the dreamlike forms of Gaudí’s Barcelona.

I started my career in the travel industry as a travel agent over 25 years ago. Today, I work as a director at the heart of the travel industry.

As my children grew up, I felt I needed a new purpose alongside my career. I’ve always had a love for art, culture and travel, so I decided to explore that more by travel writing.

I set up a personal travel journal called Journey in Colour documenting my travel stories. I love drawing out the character of each place I visit on my travels.

This Substack publication captures my travel musings and travel snaps between my travelling. It’s also a great platform to get to know me as the author of Journey in Colour better.
